Zak Ové’s The Mothership Connection

Treat yourself to an autumnal walk in Regent’s Park before the Frieze crowds arrive and nosey around this year’s outdoor sculptures. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing:

• Yuichi Hirako’s Yggdrasill / Books (Tree Man) Resembling the human form, Tree Man is portrayed as a figure who leisurely spends days living harmoniously with other creatures in the forest

• Suhasini Kejriwal’s Garden of Un-Earthly Delights Drawn directly from species in the artist’s own home garden, a sanctuary during the years of the Covid pandemic

• Zak Ové’s The Mothership Connection Working with ideas around the emancipation of self through the culture of carnival and masquerade, Ové explores themes of storytelling and their ability to convey and reframe history, myth and legend

Black Neurodates (online) 27 Sept 6-9.30pm BST

Neuromancers have created this abolitionist community organisation, for and by neurodivergents. Enjoy being welcomed into their Solidarity Galaxy! Black Neurodates are date nights where as neurodivergents you can romance your inner and outer worlds and fall in love with (neuro) divergency. Including a guest talk with writer Micha Frazer-Carroll
